Ultra Paws® DURABLE DOG BOOTS

Ultra Paws® has manufactured high-quality dog boots for over 15 years. Ultra Paws® Durable dog boots are so revolutionary they've applied for a patent. You'll appreciate how easy the dog boots are put on and how difficult the dog boots are to pull off. The Durable dog boots are appropriate for indoor and light use. Indoors the full textured sole gives dogs more grip on floors.

The Ultra Paws® boots received over 90% approval rating from a recent North American Hunting Club field test. Thanks to comments from our hunting customers, the Ultra Paws® boot is now available in camouflage and red.

Ultra Paws® proudly offers you the pinnacle in dog footwear – the Ultra Paws® Durable Dog Boot. Made with a dense, water resistant canvas-like nylon material and wrapped with a grippy and pliable thermoplastic sole and toe. This boot lives up to its name. Ideal for light duty applications – plus they’ll stay on your dogs feet.

How To Measure For Dog Boots

You wouldn’t want to stick your size 10 foot in a size 8 shoe because it’d be incredibly uncomfortable. The same goes for your dog, which is why we’re here to help you measure your dog’s foot to ensure a comfortable fitting boot.

To measure the width of your dog’s foot, place the foot on a piece of paper and press down on the top of the foot, mimicking how the foot spreads when the dog’s walking.

Mark the left and the right side of the foot on the paper and measure the distance between the marks. Compare this to the boot sizes.
The width of the foot should be smaller than the boot size. For example, if the foot width is 3/4 inch, order an Xsmall at 1 inch.

How to use dog boots

Be prepared for a good laugh the first time your dog wears the new boots. Remember, they’ve been barefoot their entire life, and like a young toddler, their first experience with shoes will be memorable. Dogs will typically pick up their feet and prance like high-stepping ponies, trying to figure out why the ground doesn’t feel the same. (If you have a video camera, this is a great photo opportunity!)

Fully open the Velcro® closures and slip the dog’s foot into the boot. The hook portion of the closure should be on the front of the boot. Pull the closures tight. If the dog is docile and allows you to put on all four boots, go for it. Then let it run around or take the dog for a walk and break in the boots.

If the dog’s unsure about this experience, go slow and put on one boot at a time, letting it get used to the feeling of the boots. After the boots have been broken in, check the closures and re-tighten the boots if necessary.

* Success varies depending on the surface on which your dog is walking or running. Boots will show wear; the material used, while durable, are still fabrics. The more abrasive the surface, the faster the boot will show wear. Wear includes tears, holes, etc. and we can not accept returns in this condition. We've found that using "Shoe Goo" to repair holes or tears works well and gives your boots a longer life.

Unfortunately, there isn't a perfect solution for dogs that drag their feet. - we haven't found a material that will stand up to dragging and still be comfortable for the dog. Some customers use the Rugged boots and then apply Shoe Goo as wear appears.
